Safety in the Club

As the owner of a nightclub in downtown Flint, Michigan, I’ve learned to prioritize safety measures above all other considerations. Just 30 years ago my city was a booming industrial hub, the home of General Motors and host to a diverse population that lived and worked together in relative peace. In recent years, things have changed. A series of violent incidents in bars and clubs convinced me to take matters into my own hands.

It’s become standard procedure for the bouncer at my club to scan every guest with a Garrett metal detector. It’s a momentary inconvenience at worst, and there’s no doubt that the process is worth the trouble. I’m protecting my own financial investment – and its good reputation – even as I help ensure the safety of each patron. The trend has been catching on in cities across the country, and hopefully it will save lives in the long run.

A personal scanner such as this can be used to prevent dangerous objects from being smuggled into your store. It is also shows respect to other people instead of bodily searching them using hands.
Use the personal scanner:

~To do body searches
~For crowd control
~For general security
~To check parcels and letters
~To check anywhere else that a hidden metal can be concealed
